I'll Be There

Quotes & poems don't ease the pain of losing a child but they do seem to help in some way. Whenever I read them I do feel closer to Lilly. Who knows why, but they are helping me through the grieving process. I don't think a part of me will ever stop grieving for my baby. I like this poem. It's sweet & brings me comfort. Maybe i'll write it out especially, frame it & hang it somewhere where I can read it whenever I like.

Small Bump

Reading about grieving coping strategies, a lovely idea is to choose a song and dedicate it to the person you have lost. Everytime you want to feel close to that person to play the song you've chosen. Listen to the lyrics and just feel what you feel. This is my song. I can truly relate to the words, everytime I listen to it I remember my baby and grieve for her.

Sunset On The Coast

So...for my very first blog I am going to share this gorgeous picture of the sun setting on the Norfolk coast. Living so close to the sea means I can enjoy beautiful evenings like this. My favourite place to be in the whole world is the beach. I love watching the sea, feeling the sand between my toes, listening to the waves and the seagulls and taking in that lovely fresh seaside smell. All these things remind me what a beautiful place the world is.

Lilly May

This blog is dedicated to my little girl who I never got to meet. Gone forever but will always hold a special place in my heart.

Sweet dreams Lilly May xxxxx
